Thanks to photography, Ke Sun takes over the narra

Thanks to photography, Ke Sun takes over the narrative of her life, fighting traditional family concept in which “fathers and grandfathers like sons have the authority”. This is what the Prix Virginia is about: promoting female gaze and storytelling by supporting women photographers.

Grâce à la photographie, Ke Sun reprend le contrôle du récit de sa vie et met à mal la vision traditionaliste de la famille dans laquelle « l’autorité revient aux pères, aux grands-pères et aux fils. » C’est là tout l’enjeu du Prix Virginia : promouvoir le regard et le récit féminins en soutenant les femmes photographes.
