2024 winners

For the first time since its creation in 2012, the jury of Prix Virginia chose to award the 7th Prix Virginia to two photographers during an online deliberation on October 8th 2024.

The high-quality of the two series presented by Jo Ractliffe and Jennifer Sakai convinced a jury of photography specialists, strongly impressed by the rigorousness of two incomparable applications submitted at two very different stages of careers.
By choosing to split the prize in two, the jury acknowledges and highlights the double necessity of recognizing women photographers’ longtime career and supporting emerging women photographers.
